Hi, I’m Lisa, please allow me to introduce myself:
Established in 2009 as a dog groomer and then as a Dog Dental Hygienist in 2019, my love for animals has run strong through my life. Raised in rural Alberta, animals were abundant, from dogs and cats to rabbits, horses, donkeys, sheep and everything else in between! As a young girl, I loved to help on my grandparents’ farm and spent most of my time doting over every animal there. Once I was of working age, I quickly jumped on an opportunity to work at an animal boarding facility, setting in stone the urge to make working with animals a must. I spent time working in logistics all the while keeping a second job as a Dog Groomer. Eventually, I knew it was time to say goodbye to a career that did not serve me and follow my heart to the path that made my heart sing. I would spend the next few years working in and managing grooming salons and eventually decided to pursue training in oral care for dogs, I had found my calling. Through the years, my entrepreneurial spirit grew, I knew I needed to make this my life’s work, and so, Tooth Doggy Dogg was born!
Thank you for taking the time to get to know a bit about me and I cannot wait to meet you and furry friends!
The services I provide offer a convenient way for pet owners to have their pets nail care and or anesthesia free dental health needs taken care of from the comfort of their own home, significantly reducing stress on beloved pets. This service is perfect for those who are unable to easily take their pet to the groomers or a veterinarian’s office on a regular basis, and for those who have pets with mobility issues or, who are simply more comfortable in a familiar setting. After working with animals, almost daily, I have become comfortable and aware of how to work with various behavioral concerns. I pride myself on my calm and empathetic nature, which allows me to take the time to bond with each pet, ensuring each experience becomes easier and more pleasant over time. Furthermore, I am rooted in holistic approaches and offering a service that requires no anesthesia, ensures I am offering a service I can stand behind.
